About Ahmed
I am Ahmed Mohyeldin, a multidisciplinary software engineer, technology leader, and educator with more than 25 years of professional experience.

I began my career in structural design and construction-site engineering. In 1998, I entered software engineering through ITI’s professional training program, then worked as an instructor and software developer. My later leadership roles spanned software-development education, IT, and quality assurance and quality control. This path helps me connect technical depth, engineering context, user needs, team capability, and long-term value.
In 2014, I founded ITI’s AEC Informatics Department, which I continue to head. I develop program direction, teach and mentor, supervise graduation projects, and help engineers combine domain knowledge with sound software-engineering practice. Earlier, I led the Software Development, IT, and Quality Assurance departments; my work there included quality assurance audits of educational programs and quality control of their outputs.
At XMindWorks, established in 2026, I serve as Co-founder and CTO. I contribute to company strategy, technology direction, product thinking, and specialized software solutions and digital products.
MohyeldinX is where I bring together my open-source projects, technical writing, videos, educational resources, professional experience, and the ideas I am developing for what comes next. I am also exploring how AI can support software engineering, engineering workflows, and professional learning.
